We are the destination agent for overseas forwarders in Iran, and we hold our own partners abroad to exactly the same standards.
Both directions
Representation in this trade runs two ways
Every international file has at least two companies on it: one at origin and one at destination. The quality of the job is set by the weaker of the two, not the stronger. That is why we are hard to please about who represents us, and specific about what we take on when we represent somebody else.
In Iran, we are the destination agent. Overseas forwarders with cargo moving into Iran hand us the execution: cargo taken over at the port or the border, entered and cleared, moved inland, and reported at defined milestones. Their commercial relationship with the shipper and consignee is left exactly where it is.
Abroad, others represent us. At every origin we work, there is a partner who takes the cargo over, prepares the documents and tells us when something changes. Those partners are chosen on performance, and any who stop delivering are replaced.
Our terms
What we expect from an agent
We accept the same tests on ourselves. If we were weak on any of them, there would be no reason to keep us.
Documents right first time
Paperwork that agrees with the customs entry and does not need correcting three times.
Telling, not answering
A problem reported the day it appears, rather than when somebody thinks to ask.
A clear line on customers
Contact with the other side’s customer only as the job requires, and always with their knowledge.
No surprises on the invoice
The charges that were quoted at the start, unless something has genuinely changed.
