What gets you a sharper number
The more complete the information, the closer our quotation is to the final invoice. These four make the most difference:
- Exact origin and destination — the city or port, not just the country. Two ports in the same country can price very differently.
- Real weight and dimensions — gross weight and package sizes. On air freight the dimensions often matter more than the weight.
- Commodity and HS code — if you know the tariff code, include it. Permits and carrier restrictions follow from it.
- Incoterms — are you handling the origin side, or is the supplier? That decides what the rate has to cover.
If you do not have all of it, send what you have and we will ask for the rest. For project cargo, include a drawing or photograph in the notes.
